Augments

Augments are situational upgrades which the player can opt into during any given run. These provide strong benefits to the player but also come with notable downsides attached to them.

- Crystal Confidence: The player has permanent double outgoing damage but receives double incoming damage
- **Garlic Allergy:** Gives the player life steal on all attacks, but constantly loses health over time
- **Book Worm:** Enemies drop 20% more XP but also reduces movement speed by 20
Abilities - DEPRECIATED

Earned through levelling during a run, abilities are auto-executable upgrades which act independently from the player and can be upgraded to increase their effectiveness.

- Infected Tin Foil: Periodically chains damaging lightning up the nearest 2/3/4 enemies, dealing light/moderate damage.
- Floating Rock: 1/2/3/4 rocks will orbit the player for a period every 10/9/8/7, knocking back enemies who they hit.
- Volatile Crystal: Periodically throws a grenade towards the nearest group of enemies which explode after a short delay, leaving a pool in a small/medium/large which deals light/moderate damage.
- Miners Hat: Periodically release a burst of 5/6/7 crystals from the player, dealing light damage to enemies. Crystals over-penetrate and auto-release on damage taken at level 3.
