Cannot get past the allow Audio/Video screen

  1. Try a Hard Refresh to reset your connection to the page
  2. Go to your browser’s settings page. Look for camera and/or microphone permissions, and make sure your browser is not blocking your camera and/or microphone permissions.
  3. Also on your browser's setting page, look for cookies and site date. Make sure your browser is not blocking cookies for urnowhere.com.
  4. If problem persists, follow the directions on the Audio/Video Permission Issues on the Connection Issues page.

No video and/or no audio my the Audio/Video check

  1. Ensure there is nothing blocking the view of your webcam

  2. Try a Hard Refresh - to reset your connection to the page

    1. If the problem persists, follow the directions on Audio/Video Permission Issues on our Connection Issues page.

My Pod screen is black / others cannot see me

  1. Ensure you have a strong Internet connection
  2. Ensure there is nothing blocking the view of your webcam
  3. Try a Hard Refresh to reset your connection to the page
  4. Ensure that your internet browser is fully updated.

My Pod screen is a solid color, has a moose, or another visual instead of my video

This occurs when you have a camera replacement app, such as Snap Camera, but do not currently have the app active.

  1. If you want to use a camera replacement app, turn it on. Otherwise, go to the audio/video tab, and select another camera from the dropdown menu.

All other Pods have black screens

  1. Wait 30 seconds. Other people's video screens sometimes take longer to load than the Space itself.
