INTRODUCTION

The music scene in general has become so diversified. It's becoming hard for users to keep track of their favorite genre as well as creating playlists from their favorite artistes according to their mood. It is also becoming seemingly important to discover how users listen, and make sense from so much music data, as it creates a better user experience and connectivity to their music.

According to the popular music streaming service Spotify, there are over 1,300 music genres in the world. One can become lost in that much data and there is a growing need for more platforms that can analyze, organize users online streaming data; create and suggest playlists that suits users moods and tastes.

Astrooonat is a music analysis and streaming tool built with Deezer api that helps users to discover how they listen to music and create playlists according to their mood.

For this project, I worked with a group of designers, data scientists and software engineers to bring this product to life.
