What do we gain by having AI in our everyday lives?
We increase the efficiency by AI doing some nitty-gritty things that we find small but boring. We get better searching result that fits individual’s need. We know more people/events/products that might relevant to our live by social media’s recommendation function. In shorts, it helps the cost of gaining information.
What do we lose by having AI in our daily lives?
In my opinion the biggest lost we have is our privacy, our information, our data. The algorithm also labelled and categorized us, trapping us in an echo chamber, and we might lost our individuality because of that.
