Ashes of Numrhak is a 3rd person action-adventure game where two players cooperate as Tulpa and Tham Lemm, entwined in the same body.
The game takes place in a fictional universe inspired by pre-columbian culture. Each player controls their own spirit, trapped in the same body. Players will have to cooperate and synchronize their actions to get the most of their abilities and move on in the story.
The gameplay is mostly about puzzle, platforming and combat surrounded by a deep linear storyline.
Ashes of Numrhak is meant to immerse 2 players in a symbiosis experience.

In few words...
This project was challenging in many aspects :
- Two players controlling the same character: insane design challenge.
- Need to reach a high level of polish in a very short time.
- First time on Unreal and even first 3D project for a lot of teammates.
- Curfew that limits our worktime.
My mission in this project was to :
- Design the core mechanics with the game design team.
- Being the lead of the "design > integrate > test > iterate" production pattern.
- Organize daily test because the project was very difficult to tackle with.
- Review the visual and sound assets, playtest it with players and ask for fixes when needed.
