Ascent Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") sets forth the handling of user personal information in "Ascent" (hereinafter referred to as "this App").

1. Information Collected In principle, this App saves user videos, images, and settings locally on the user's device and does not transmit them to our servers. We primarily handle the following:

• User Content: Videos, images, comparison settings, tags, etc., captured or saved by the user (stored on the device).
• App Settings: Local settings such as onboarding completion flags, showcase display flags, and gym information (stored on the device).
• Device Permissions: Camera, Microphone, Photo Library/Media Library, and Storage (for capturing, saving, and reading data).

At present, we do not transmit or collect personal information on our servers. If we introduce analysis tools or online features in the future, we will update this Policy and obtain the necessary consents.

2. Purpose of Use of Permissions

• Camera/Microphone: For recording climbing videos.
• Photos/Media/Files: For loading videos from the device, saving data within the App, and exporting to the gallery.
• Notifications (if used): For operational guidance, processing completion notifications, etc.

3. Storage Location and Retention Period

• Storage Location: Inside the user's device (app storage area, etc.).
• Retention Period: Until deleted by the user. Generally, data in the app storage area is deleted upon uninstallation of the App.

4. Third-Party Disclosure iClimb will not provide user information to third parties, except as required by law. If the user posts content to external services using sharing features, the terms and policies of those respective services shall apply.

5. Security Measures iClimb strives for appropriate management of information but cannot completely eliminate the risk of information leakage due to device loss, unauthorized access, or other factors. We recommend enabling standard OS security features on your device (screen lock, encryption, backup management, etc.).

6. Use by Minors This App is intended for use by individuals aged 13 and older. Minors should use this App with the consent of a parent or guardian.

7. Changes to Policy iClimb may modify this Policy as necessary. Significant changes will be notified within the App or through other appropriate means.
