Argus is a sidekick who aids the protagonists. He is the one who forges and improves Halia's weapons, as well as her armor. They meet in the dungeons, where he teaches her how to fight and survive. To Halia, he becomes like a father figure.
At 46 years old and of average height, Argus walks hunched over and limps slightly due to a wound that never fully healed. He has a rugged appearance, with messy hair and a beard. However, his hands are well cared for, as they are his tools for work.
Many people know of Argus thanks to his talent, but no one truly knows him. He is reserved and doesn't form relationships beyond the professional realm until he meets Halia, and a paternal bond grows between them.
Personality
Argus is, therefore, quite introverted and reserved about his inner world. In the professional sphere, he is kind, friendly, and highly responsible. He chooses his words carefully and has a great ability to resolve any problems he encounters.
His introversion stems from his past. Argus' mother died during childbirth, and he only had his father and older brother. At the age of 15, Argus had to leave his family when he was drafted into the war as a weapon maker. After his service, he returned to his village, only to find it destroyed.
From that point on, Argus never saw his family again and wandered through various realms, selling the weapons he had created to survive. He attempted to steal a precious mineral and was imprisoned for it. Argus has grown accustomed to living in dungeons, seeing them as a home, until he meets Halia.
