Remember this is a functional build, NOT the designer version currently in the works. All feedback is important. However, UX-related comments are probably already being addressed in the new designs (coming this summer🤞).

Today, by sharing this alpha version, we are more interested in crashes and failed use cases that we can debug on a technical basis

Full Disclosure: here is what the mobile apps CAN and CANNOT do right now:

CAN 💪

• Create “In-Person” IDs with phone numbers automatically
• Manually create cloaked Company IDs
• Check your cloaked Email and SMS/Text inboxes
• Receive all notifications on your phone

KINDA 😬

• Autofill sign up for newsletters (with a little hack)
• Autofill log into cloaked IDs (requires setup in iPhone settings)
• Autofill log into existing IDs (non-cloaked) that are captured by the plugin on your computer

NOT YET 👨🏽‍💻

• Seamlessly create new cloaked IDs like the browser extension
• Selectively “turn off” notifications from specific cloaked IDs (in development now!)
• Win any design awards :)

• If you have an iPhone, read on! The following instructions will step you through the necessary requirements for testing the cloaked app

• If you have an iPad, you are welcome to read on...however, just know that the experience will look a bit "stretched" since this first version was built initially for the iPhone

Instructions To Install on iOS

Testflight is Apple’s early distribution platform that allows customers just like you to take the cloaked app for a test drive. So, you must install both Testflight AND the cloaked app on your iPhone.

FYI yes Apple calls it Beta in Testflight, but what is cloaked if not ahead of the curve?

If you already have Testflight installed, great! You can and should skip the prompt to install Testflight.

Let’s get started:

1. Click on this exclusive link:

2. Download Testflight (if you don’t have it already)

• Allow Notifications
• Open Testflight

3. Go back to exclusive link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/yRsm53wM

4. Scroll to Testflight's "Step 2"

5. Click “Start Testing Cloaked” - you need to accept and install the cloaked app (this is two separate steps per Apple policy):

• Turn on Automatic Updates (toggle should display green)

• Click the blue “Accept” button - note it says send bugs and improvement to Notion under “Internal Testing” (this is only relevant for the internal cloaked team).

• Click the blue “Install” button

• Click “Open” - this opens the cloaked app!

6. Almost there! With the cloaked app open, login to sync your cloaked account...make sure everything looks familiar

7. Now if you want your iPhone to Autofill your cloaked IDs within Safari, you

must update your iPhone’s Settings

• Go to Settings > Passwords
• Select Autofill Passwords
• Turn the toggle is “on” or green
• Then make sure Cloaked is checked

This gives permission to Cloaked to autofill your IDs!
