What is Pathfinders?

A four-week program that gives university students real exposure to startups and venture capital—through candid conversations with founders, practical sessions with the Airtree team, and connections with curious, like-minded students.

For students who are exploring what a future in tech or startups could look like.

🎯 Who should apply?

The program is open to Sydney-based university students, at all levels, who are:

• Curious and proactive — building projects or involved in startup/entrepreneurship communities
• Open to different paths — considering founding, joining a startup, or learning about VC
• Diverse thinkers — builders, engineers, designers, product minds, and commercially curious students
• Community-minded — people who connect dots and want to shape the future of ANZ tech

No prior VC, startup experience, tech or work experience is required

Five sessions over four weeks

Two in-person sessions in Sydney:

• Session 1: Kickoff at Airtree — intro to VC and the ANZ startup ecosystem
• Session 5: Finale pitch night — pitch a startup, step into an investor's shoes, celebrate with your cohort
