The Role

You'll be the engine behind the AI systems we deliver to clients. While our Software Engineers focus on the application layer, you'll go deep on the AI side—designing and building the LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, agents, and evaluation frameworks that power real business outcomes. This isn't research for research's sake. You'll ship production systems that work reliably at scale.

What You'll Do

• Design and build LLM-powered systems including RAG pipelines, AI agents, and multi-step workflows
• Develop and refine prompt engineering strategies for complex, domain-specific use cases
• Implement and manage vector databases and embedding pipelines
• Build evaluation and observability frameworks to measure and improve AI system performance
• Fine-tune models when off-the-shelf solutions fall short
• Collaborate with Full Stack Engineers to integrate AI capabilities into production applications
• Work directly with founders and customers to understand business problems and translate them into AI solutions

Tech Stack

• Python (primary language)
• LLM APIs and frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)
• Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or similar)
• AWS (Lambda, S3, ECS, SageMaker, or similar)
• Evaluation and observability tools (LangSmith, Braintrust, custom solutions)
