1. Retainer Overview

This engagement is structured as a monthly retainer that reserves the Consultant’s ongoing availability, continuity, and priority access.

The intent is to provide steady, senior design leadership over time rather than task-based delivery. The retainer reflects reserved capacity and engagement, not a fixed or tracked number of hours.

As a general reference only, the level of involvement typically corresponds to a meaningful part-time commitment spread across the month, flexing week to week based on priorities.

2. Focus Areas

The Consultant will support the Client across a combination of advisory and hands-on work, which may include:

• Product and design direction
• Design and product reviews
• Strategic input and decision support
• Design system guidance and evolution
• Hands-on exploration, prototyping, or execution where helpful
• Mentoring and support for designers or cross-functional partners

The exact balance between advisory and execution may shift over time depending on phase, needs, and priorities.

3. Ways of Working & Cadence

Unless otherwise agreed, the working rhythm includes:

• One weekly standing meeting (typically 30-60 minutes)
• Ad-hoc meetings as needed and mutually agreed
• Ongoing asynchronous collaboration throughout the week
