Introduction

This app has been created to facilitate the collection of data from the movement sensors of the mobile phones. It has been written for Android and iOS platform and stores the measurements of the available sensors at a frequency of 200 Hz. The user can easily add labels to the measurements, even change the labels during the recording. Once the measurement is finished, the user can send the data to a remote server that is hosted at EPFL.

As an additional gamification, the different labels start red, after 1 minute of usage they turn yellow, and after one more minute of usage they turn green.

Tutorial

Before you download and install the app, we recommend you try this tutorial version.

The tutorial is a fake version of the app, which guides you through all the steps of creating a successful recording using IndiePocket. It does not actually work, it is only a mock-up. This means it won't record any data, nor upload it on the server.
