Aphrodite is an ally of Halia. She is the goddess of love, beauty, and fertility. Aphrodite is the one who inspires the love between Halia and Zeus. She assists them in gathering information about Cronos, as she often sides with Zeus in disputes. However, she remains a capricious goddess, always seeking her own interests.
Her father is Uranus. After Cronos castrated his father Uranus, he threw the severed genitals into the sea near the shores of Paphos. From the mixture of Uranus' semen and blood with the ocean's foam, the goddess of love emerged fully grown. Aphrodite possesses exquisite beauty, with her slim and graceful figure. Her carefully maintained wavy hair captivates both men and women alike.
The goddess Aphrodite was given in marriage to Hephaestus as compensation for the mistreatment Hephaestus endured from his parents due to his deformities. However, Aphrodite was unfaithful to him with Ares, the god of war. They engaged in an adulterous relationship, which they tried to conceal from the other deities. Helios, the god of the sun, discovered Aphrodite's infidelity and rushed to Hephaestus' forge to reveal the betrayal. Hephaestus decided to humiliate his wife and her lover by weaving an unbreakable silver net in his forge.
At the moment when Ares and Aphrodite were in bed together, Hephaestus caught them and cast the magical net over them. The lovers were ensnared, and Hephaestus, to expose his wife's treachery, summoned all the gods to witness their naked bodies entwined. Ashamed, Aphrodite pleaded with her husband to set her free, promising to end her relationship with Ares. Moved by his wife's pleas, Hephaestus decided to remove the net and put an end to the torment he had inflicted on the two lovers.
