Problem
As a social media and contents company, it’s difficult to protect commercial visual media and stay legally compliant against the increasing threat of artificially generated media. Help me protect the sensitive biometric data of my users and avoid legal and financial liability.
Solution
ThatsMyFace uses facial and visual identification to fight spoofing and image-based abuse. We tackle the threat of deepfakes and identity fraud from a completely different angle; not through detection, reactive flagging or policing, but through visual data matching.
Validation
- Increasing pressure from governance and policy through 2023-2024 (EU Deepfakes / AI Act, Chinese High Risk AI Act & Deepfakes Act, US Biden Presidential Statement on AI & Policy Announcements)
- Over 70% of businesses have suffered cybercrime in 2023
- Out of those, over 60% involved a form of visual manipulation (deepfakes, doctored images, identity fraud etc)
- More than 80% of deepfakes uploaded to the top 20 sites on the internet throughout time was generated in the last 6 months of 2023.
- Brolly: “Our customers are worried, more than ever, about the protection of their social and public reputation, and the risk artificially generated media poses.”
- eSafety Commissioner: “Big Tech companies will be held accountable; this is not a question of should we, but how quickly can we.”
