Anny Lin (she/her) is a Taiwanese-Canadian interdisciplinary taiko artist based in Vancouver, BC, located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples. Anny has a BFA in Music from Simon Fraser University; studied dance, music, and culture at the University of Ghana through a Field Study organized by Albert St. Albert Smith; trained with meditative drum group U-Theatre in Taiwan; and had the opportunity to coordinate and participate in a ceremonial drumming event in Vancouver. These transformative experiences have filled her with a purpose to connect with community, collaborate with interdisciplinary artists, and deepen her practice in the ceremonial arts.

Anny has collaborated with Sammy as both a violinist and taiko artist.

Anny is also Chimerik’s arts administrator since early 2022.
