I'm a somatic movement teacher guiding people toward more grounded, attentive ways of being in their body.

Somatic movement is a body awareness practice helping to approach your body with attention and care rather fixing and reconnect with yourself.

About

L3550765.jpeg

I trained in dance for 14 years. Movement was always part of my life, but back then it was about technique, performance, and control.

When I moved into the corporate world, things shifted. My days were full of deadlines and decisions, and somewhere in the busyness, being overwhelmed by mental noise, I lost connection with my body.

Finding somatic work changed that. At first, it was simple way to pause and breathe. Over time, it became something deeper — a way to listen to my body, understand it, and treat it with more kindness. Recently, becoming a parent deepened this practice, showing me ways to stay present in a sensitive, constantly changing body.

Now, I’m a certified Somatics Movement teacher. Starting my practice in 2019, I help others find that same steady, quiet way back to themself through their body.

Method

BODYMEANT is a method of gentle movement and body awareness, drawing it roots from Hanna Somatics, Body-Mind Centering®, and Laban/Bartenieff movement principles.

My practice focuses on exploration of foundational body states like lying, sitting, standing, or walking. It’s about sensing, softening, and meeting the body where it is. We rewire movement patterns to restore optimal body function and improve mental focus.

Each session is guided and paced by what your system can safely take in.
