This is the very beginning of Haku’s and Rahdis’ Arcadion tournament partnership. After getting brutally defeated by the Brute Bomber in the Arcadion fights, Haku is left with questions and uncertainties. Even as the Warrior of Light, he cannot climb the ranks alone. Coming to a decision that there is no other person suitable to be his fighting companion, he turns to his roots and looks to return to Ul’dah, reluctantly setting aside his anger and hatred for his old arena rival to instead recruit him to his cause. With money and fame. The tension and spite between to the two stubborn miqo’te is still very much alive and well, but it is Haku who decides to swallow this hard lump of pride of his and try his best to move past what him and Rahdis had done to each other in the past, looking to the future instead, and making a name for themselves in the bright and loud atmosphere of Solution 9’s flashy Arcadion.

This Arcadion AU is a rivals-to-lovers trope, and the start of the wolf’s and tiger’s budding relationship. They will not be without their trials and tribulations.
