Ingredients

• Ampicillin Powder (need 1 gram)
• Sterile Distilled Water (need 10mL)
• Sterile 1.5mL Tubes (9ish)
• Sterile 15mL Tube

Equipment

• Analytical Balance
• Vortexer
• -20C Freezer

Step By Step

1. Weigh 1.000g of Ampicillin Powder and add it to 8mL of sterile distilled water into a 15mL tube.
2. Vortex vigorously until fully dissolved.
3. Top off to the 10mL mark of the tube using more sterile distilled water.
4. Vortex to fully mix.
5. Aliquot 1mL into sterile 1.5mL tubes, label the tubes, and store in freezer at -20C.

Notes

If kept frozen, lasts one full year. You can use older stocks but YMMV.
