There are 2 ways you can change your order via Fairmart:
If you are unable to fulfill part of the order, as you do not have stock available for some of the items, you can choose to do a partial refund by selecting ‘Amend Order’ in the update dropdown.
You would need to fill in the refund amount in the form, which would be the total price of the items which you are unable to fulfill.
You would also need to tick the checkbox to acknowledge that the shopper has agreed to a partial refund. Please note that you are required to message the shopper yourself to let them know that you would like to process a partial refund of their order. Only go through with the partial refund after you have discussed with the shopper and they have agreed to a partial refund.
Upon confirmation, the amount stipulated will be refunded to the shopper, and you can proceed to arrange delivery for the remaining items in the order.
<aside> 👉🏻 It can take 5-10 working days for the refund to reach your customer (depending on the bank) so it's important to start refund process as soon is possible in case you have to cancel order. Refunds are free of charge.
