👋 Hey, I’m Alphina — Welcome to my little corner on the internet
I’m someone who cares about real people and real problems. I come from the public sector, where I worked closely with vulnerable communities. That’s where I learned something important: if you don’t center the people you’re trying to help, you risk making things worse, not better.
Now, I’m diving into tech with that same mindset, making sure the stuff I work on actually helps users, not just checks boxes.
I’m a team builder, problem solver, and people-first thinker.
With a background in the public sector, I’ve worked with vulnerable communities and seen firsthand the impact of decisions that don’t center users. That’s why I ask the question many forget:
What I Bring:
- 🧠 Empathy-first mindset from years in the public sector supporting vunerable communities
- 👥 Years of experience putting users first — translating frustrations into actionable solutions. (It’s not just talk, it’s how I work).
- 🛠️ Some solid technical skills from software development bootcamp, I completed a front-end internship — I get how code and data come together to make products work. Data analysis, API integrations.
- 🔍🤝 I’m good at breaking down problems, thinking through what really matters, and working with all kinds of people, so as a APM this would be good when working with engineers, designers, analysts, you name it.
- 🌱✨I’m driven by curiosity and want to keep learning and getting better every day.
- ⚡ Developing product sense — spotting problems, scoping MVPs, iterating solutions
