Alma Health Care, in collaboration with YWS ( Taiwo Dada)

Alma Health Care reached out to YWS in 2020, to help them grow their online presence. They were just starting out, so we had to build from the scratch. I was the expert assigned to create and execute the social media growth strategy for the campaign. I was also saddled with the responsibility of writing weekly contents for Instagram and Twitter posts.

A Vibrant Strategy.

Alma Health Care aim was to grow a strong social media presence, increase brand awareness, drive website traffic via social media, boost engagement and grow the follower count.

To execute this strategy, i started by identifying Alms target audience and their demographics. This will help tailor content to resonate with the preferences of the audience.

Next, i proceed to create a content strategy that involved a mix of contents that are informative and entertaining. I also created a content calendar to plan and schedule posts, hence preventing creative stagnation. I also partnered with the design team to create graphics that communicates the values of Alma Health Care. i also leveraged user-generated content by involving followers in challenges, contests and sharing their testimonials.

Challenges

Below are some of the challenges encountered in the execution of social media campaign

Alma Health operates in three countries ( Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Egypt). We had initial challenges deciding what Social Media platforms is right for each countries. Additionally, we had to stay updated on health updates , local trends, national updates and public holidays in these countries. Ignoring these can lead to disconnected content.

There is a fierce competition in the health space in three countries where Alma Health operates. So establish Alma Health as an industry leader and force to reckon with, we had to break through the noise and standout.

Staying consistent with content posting can lead to burnout, especially for small teams managing multiple platforms.
