2. What information we collect
We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you use the Service and which permissions you grant:
A. Information you provide
- Account information (if you create an account): name, email, login credentials.
- Support requests: the content you send to us (messages, attachments).
B. Information collected automatically
- Device and app information: device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone.
- Usage information: screens viewed, features used, in-app actions, crash logs, performance diagnostics.
C. Information from optional permissions (only if you grant them)
- Notifications: if you enable alarms/notifications, we store your preferences and schedules needed to deliver reminders.
- Display over other apps (“Appear on top” / overlay permission): if you enable this permission, AlarmMe may display alarm/reminder UI elements on top of other apps (for example, a full-screen alarm screen or a small overlay) so you can see and dismiss alarms reliably. We do not read, record, or capture the content of other apps on your screen as a result of this permission.
Note: AlarmMe does not intentionally collect sensitive categories of information (such as health, biometric, or precise financial data) unless you choose to include it in content you submit to us (e.g., a support message).
