About
New York–based luxury nail artist and founder of TRADITIONAiL, specializing in fashion runway, editorial, celebrity private appointments, and the contemporary development of traditional Japanese craft materials.
Collaborating with leading fashion brands across runway, campaign, editorial, and private luxury contexts.
My practice is rooted in editorial-driven nail design, translating fashion concepts into visual systems that extend beyond decoration. Rather than treating nails as surface detail, I approach hands as an integrated extension of garment, body, and spatial narrative.
As founder of TRADITIONAiL, I develop and reinterpret traditional Japanese craft materials—including urushi, raden, Nishijin foil, shippo, and washi—transforming historical craftsmanship into contemporary wearable art and conceptual material systems.
These materials are not merely aesthetic references, but structural and narrative tools that shape silhouette, memory, and visual identity.
Through runway, editorial shoots, campaigns, and presentations, I create nail expressions designed not only to complement fashion, but to be seen, remembered, and photographed as part of a broader creative direction.
