Logo and Packaging Design for a Family-Owned Halal Smoked Meat Business
Ahmad Smokehouse is a Vancouver-based, family-owned business specializing in handcrafted, halal smoked meats. Known for quality and tradition, they offer unique flavours with a focus on authentic, carefully smoked products.
I designed the brand logo featuring a gold and green colour palette inspired by Islamic geometric shapes and Arabic calligraphy curves. The logo incorporates a subtle smoker icon, blending cultural heritage with the business’s craft.
For packaging, I created jerky labels for two signature flavours - Sweet Heat Habanero and Teriyaki. The design uses a clean black and beige colour palette with a patterned background inspired by the logo’s shape, adding texture while keeping it modern and refined. I designed both the front and back packaging layouts.
Additionally, I developed bold, friendly deli meat sticker labels for their smoked chicken, turkey, and beef products. Each sticker uses distinct background colours to differentiate flavours, maintaining a cohesive yet vibrant look across the product line.
