Following a review of audience needs in April 2021, Catalyst supported a small working group to redesign and relaunch the Covid19TechAction crisis response Slack space as Agencies for Good, a free to access peer community for any agency, freelancer or consultant working in the social good sector. Membership currently stands at 300 and is continuing to grow.
To build diversity and inclusion in the space, Catalyst also part-covered the costs of Shanice Blair, an intern from Collaborative Future, as community manager and EDI lead from July to September 2021. Shanice welcomed new members into the space, supported members to connect and collaborate in an equitable, inclusive way, and helped the working group understand its ongoing needs for community management.
