Advisor Notes are proactive tips that appear at the top of your Dashboard. GrowLog checks your garden every day and generates notes when something needs your attention — without you having to ask.
Once a day, GrowLog automatically:
Notes are prioritized so the most urgent items appear first.
| Alert | When it triggers |
|---|---|
| Rain expected soon | Rain is forecast in the next 1–2 days — skip watering, protect low-lying beds |
| Dry stretch ahead | No rain for 5+ days with high temps — increase watering frequency |
| Frost risk tonight | Overnight temps near or below freezing — cover tender crops |
| High mildew risk | High humidity (85%+) combined with mild temps (10–26°C) — conditions favour fungal disease |
| High winds expected | Strong wind forecast — stake tall crops and check trellises |
GrowLog scans your recent session logs and reminds you to follow up when it detects you mentioned:
| Reminder | Triggered by |
|---|---|
| pH follow-up | You mentioned acidity, lime, or soil testing |
| Pest follow-up | You mentioned aphids, slugs, insects, or other pests |
| Fertilizer follow-up | You mentioned feeding, nitrogen, compost, or nutrients |
| Transplant check-in | You mentioned transplanting or moving a crop |
| Harvest approaching | Your crop’s expected harvest date is coming up |
| Check-in reminder | A crop hasn’t had a session log in a while |
Occasionally GrowLog generates an ai_insight note — a tip or observation generated by the AI based on patterns in your garden data.
Each note has an optional action button (e.g. “Frost protection tips”, “Get watering tips”). Tapping it opens the relevant crop’s AI chat with the alert context already loaded — the AI knows what you’re following up on and responds accordingly.
Tap the ✕ on any note to dismiss it. It won’t reappear for a set period:
