Are you ready to embark on The Team Building Challenge? In this discovery through adventures such as Escape Rooms, Rock Climbing, High Ropes Course, and Whitewater Rafting we hope to build the skills needed to work as a team and become a leader. This discovery will challenge you to enhance cooperation, improve communication, increase trust, conquer fears, surpass perceived limits, increase self-confidence and perform at higher levels.

🌄 Hiking the La Luz Trail and taking the Tram down

🚣‍♂️ Whitewater rafting the Rio Grande near Taos, NM


Supplies and Skills needed

Transportation to all sites off campus will not be provided, except the Taos trip, and will be the responsibility of the student to arrive on time and be picked up from the day’s location. Lunch will be provided only for the Camp Oro Quay and the Taos Trips.

The ability to work as a team member is highly important. Also, physically fit to be able to climb and hike are required skills. La Luz is an 8 mile hike from 7,000’ elevation to over 10,000’ elevation and is extremely challenging but rewarding.

Lastly, students will need comfortable exercise clothing for physical activities and the outdoors. Weather is unpredictable and being prepared will make the activities better.


💵 Cost: $400 (based on 24 students)

Insurance and Bus ($20) + Admissions/Fees ($360) +Tip for Rafting Guides ($20 cash)

<aside> ⚠️ Parent Help Needed: I will need parent Volunteers that has an approved background check to go along on the La Luz Hike or Taos and join us as we raft the Rio Grande.

Donations Wanted: Snacks and drinks (water and Gatorade) would be welcome donations for our outdoor activities.
