How to scan products with your smart phone

1. Download My Fairmart mobile app Android IOS Log in using your Fairmart account:

1. Once you are logged in, you should see a list of all your products

1. At the bottom of the list, there is a ‘Add Product’ button. Click this button to initiate the scanner app. If prompted to give the app permission to use the camera, click ‘Yes’.

1. Scan a barcode by centering it in the view finder. When a barcode is scanned, the viewfinder will turn green for a few moments.

2. Scanned products will appear on your product page. If Fairmart can identify the product with a high degree of certainty, then it should be displayed immediately. If not, then our software will have to search for the product before it will be displayed.

   Note that for all products scanned, prices and stock levels need to be updated either via our bulk upload feature or individually by editing each product listing.
