Reflectivity & Sensibility
The concept of neutrality in mainstream design system is bias. To that, the feminist lens emphasises on the need for individuals to situate and identify (gender, class, ethnic background, age, ability, environment, etc.) themselves when voicing their ideas. This is as means to refer and understand the decisions made and how to make a more conscious decisions going forwards.
"Desire for recognition" - But if the schemes of recognition that are available to us are those that “undo” the person by conferring recognition, or “undo” the person by withholding recognition, then recognition becomes a site of power by which the human is differentially produced."
