Decker Library welcomes donations of material supporting the educational mission of the college. The library develops its collection primarily through purchases, but gifts supporting curriculum and research needs often supply materials which are difficult to obtain by other means and are always a valuable contribution to the collection.

Conditions for the Acceptance of Gifts and Donations

Decker Library appreciates the value of gifts to the library and recognizes that gift materials can be useful and valuable resources for the library’s collections.

Gifts are accepted with no commitment concerning their placement or retention in the Decker Library collections.

Decker Library reserves the right to utilize donated materials in whatever way best benefits their collection and services. Gifts may be added to the collection, donated to another institution, sold with the proceeds benefiting new acquisitions to the collection, or used in other service to the library’s and its patrons’ needs.

Types of Acceptable Gifts and Donations
