A Beat them all, rogue lite with coop in a Dark Fantasy universe.
The first thing that grabs attention is the art direction. Even though it's not unusual to see fully 2D art styles in beat 'em ups, I haven't played many, especially ones with this kind of Dark Western cartoon aesthetic. The opening and the flashy, detailed attacks create a good vibe. The gameplay is very simple: a few basic attacks and just two special abilities, which you can swap out. The game seems solid overall, but personally, I didn’t really get into it. The most interesting aspect for me was how health is handled. Even though enemies don’t deal massive damage, since it’s a rogue-lite, health is rarely given back to the player. So instead of just being punching bags, the enemies become a real threat. You start paying much more attention to their attacks, using blocks, counters, projectiles, and the throw system. These mechanics might seem like they’re just for fun at first, but by the end, they become essential tools for survival.
