Tracking recoveries is tricky. And it gets trickier as the number of cases increases.
We try to track the recoveries on a region/province/state level when possible. But some governments have stopped providing recoveries or started providing recoveries at the national level with deaths and total cases still provided at the regional level.
The absence of data can essentially mean two things:
There are no recoveries in that particular region/country
We don't have the recoveries data in that particular region/country
So it's crucial that you don't assume that nobody has recovered simply because we don't show the recoveries.
