Hello! I'm Amora and I'm a video game artist.

I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and spent most of my teenage years drawing weird independent comics and selling them in conventions.

I currently live in Vancouver, Canada, making games that I can’t tell you much about yet!

My first real job was as a clean-up artist in a traditional animation studio, making part of Rio 2096. After that, I went to two other studios where I worked on Chico & Rita and The Princess and the Frog.

I then realized paper animation wasn't for me, and started freelancing as an illustrator while making little independent games with Pedro in our free time. We were lucky enough to get some recognition very early and that made it so our hobby became actual work.

After doing art for all kinds of games for a while, we partnered up with Maddy and Power Up Audio for TowerFall in 2013 and have been happily collaborating ever since.

Our team has grown and now counts with Heidy, Noel, Lena, Chevy, and other fantastic friends.

I don’t use Instagram anymore, but my accounts were amorabettany (personal) and amoratchi (for my tamagotchi collection).

My Twitter gets updated once in a while, and I’ve been trying to use Mastodon more.
