Khadesha (Kadie) Okwudili - Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Kadie initially pursued a career as a physician-scientist, doing research at the University of Rochester and Weill Cornell Medicine. However, her plan shifted dramatically after she was diagnosed with a life-threatening arrhythmia disorder, marked by several near-death experiences. It was during her hospital stays that she discovered the profound impact of meaningful conversations on her relationships. This realization led to the creation of Agapé.
Outside of working on Agapé, she enjoys learning to play the piano and making memories with her husband and their two toy poodles (Cinnamon and Spice).
Ronald Rogge, PhD - Chief Research Officer
Ron is a clinical relationship psychologist at the University of Rochester who served 2 tours in Iraq and has over 20 years of experience. With more than 75 publications, Ron is top 20 in his field. One of his most notable achievements is the development of the PAIR program.
PAIR is a program that helps couples to cultivate greater mindfulness in their relationships in a manner that perfectly aligns with the principles of Agapé. When tested in newlywed couples, the PAIR program cut the divorce rate in half over the early years of marriage. By incorporating the findings from his research, Ron is making sure Agapé is as effective as it is fun.
Larry McKenzie - Engineering Lead
Larry is a self-taught software engineer with a passion for building innovative solutions. He embarked on his software engineering journey independently, honing his skills to join eBay's Classifieds team from 2015 to 2021. During his time there, Larry served as a technical lead on the development of the eBay Motors App, contributing to its success and championing the use of Flutter at eBay.
In 2021, Larry transitioned to Agapé, bringing his expertise to a new environment. Family is at the core of Larry's life, with his incredible wife Audra and their four wonderful children. Currently residing in the serene Ozarks of Missouri, he has found a love for cooking and cultivating ingredients through farming and hunting.
Driven by a desire to create and innovate, whether it's writing code or creating a delicious dish, he thrives on the process of building something meaningful and impactful.
Caley Davis - Senior Software Engineer
Caley has 20+ years of dedication to software craftsmanship and creating user-loved products. His journey spans various roles where he championed user experience and security. At Agapé, he applies his deep expertise to innovate and drive impactful solutions. Caley blends his passion for technology with a commitment to building meaningful products, always to enhance user experiences.
Away from code, Caley's heart belongs to his wife and three daughters, finding joy in family life and outdoor adventures.
