Founded in 1987 by Ron and Judy Meins, Garden City Plastics has grown from a small operation into a leading provider of pre-owned plastics processing equipment. Our journey began when Ron Meins, leveraging his extensive experience in the plastics industry, identified a need for high-quality, affordable used equipment. Starting with just a few machines stored in a garage, the business rapidly expanded, now occupying six large buildings, an off-site warehouse, and a custom printing facility in Garden City, Missouri.

Ron Meins's dedication and vision drove the company's growth. Starting with local machine shops, Garden City Plastics quickly evolved into a major industry player. Ironically, Owens-Illinois—the company that had laid off Ron—became one of our first and largest customers.
