At DubsTech, our mission is to help students grow their tech skills and explore new opportunities in technology. We organize a wide range of workshops, competitions, talks, and events that are open to everyone — no matter your major, background, or experience level.
Over the years, we’ve hosted guest speakers from top tech companies including Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, and more, giving students a chance to learn directly from industry leaders.
We’re proud to be the team behind UW’s first data science hackathon, the Datathon. At the Datathon, students collaborate on real-world datasets, tackle challenging data problems, and showcase their skills in data analysis, visualization, and machine learning, all within a fast-paced, supportive environment. It’s an incredible opportunity to learn, compete, and innovate while connecting with fellow students and industry mentors.
We also organize the Protothon, the only UX competition on campus. Participants tackle industry-inspired, time-sensitive design challenges, testing their rapid prototyping and design thinking skills while helping shape the future of technology.
