We started Sygmo with the goal of helping consultants (and investment bankers too!) land their dream jobs in tech — navigating the dense jargon and unstructured interview process of the industry.

We strongly believe that anyone can transform their professional lives by applying S-curves (or sigmoidal curves) to their careers.

Jobs start out hard — with tons of context, processes, and acronyms to learn — and they quickly become incredibly fun as we set a sweet spot of growing and actually being competent in our role.

But after a while the novelty wears off, and the personal growth stagnates. This is the latter part of the S-curve, which can be detrimental to our careers if we're left in it too long.

The right thing to do is jump to the next S-curve: a transfer, a role switch, a new job. But it's hard to jump without the right support.

We strive to provide that support. We plan to start with being partners to consultants and bankers who want to break into tech. And we'll see where the journey takes us from there! 😄
