Our Executive Business Partner (EBP) team exists to help Sourcegraph’s most senior leaders operate at their highest leverage. EBPs are trusted partners who work closely with executives to optimize their time, coordinate, and decision-making, so they can stay focused on what matters most for the business.
At Sourcegraph, EBPs are more than schedulers or administrative support, they are highly proactive problem-solvers, operational partners, and culture carriers who help bring clarity, momentum, and humanity to the way our leadership team works.
Each EBP supports one or more members of our executive team. Their responsibilities vary depending on the needs and style of the leaders they support, but typically include:
Time + calendar management
Prioritizing and protecting exec time for high-leverage work, ensuring they’re in the right conversations at the right moments.
Meeting preparation + follow-up
Coordinating agendas, gathering context, and ensuring next steps are tracked and actioned.
Coordination + communication
Helping execs communicate effectively across the company and with external stakeholders — often acting as a liaison or point of contact.
Office + team operations
Supporting our in-person presence, managing office logistics, and creating an environment that’s inviting, productive, and connected.
Special projects
Taking on operational tasks or initiatives that free up exec focus — from event planning to process improvements.
The EBP team currently reports to our Director of Executive Comms, @Madison Clark. The team has a private workspace in Notion with more details about in-progress work. If you’re part of the EBP, you can access that here.
