Intermediate to advanced exploration of principles of digital image creation and production process for print, web and digital media work-flows. Emphasis on raster or bit mapped based image creation. Exploring digital workflow and creative aspects of image quality for electronic illustration for commercial and fine art applications. This includes intermediate to advanced techniques using Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud application to gain greater efficiency using masks and channels; short cuts and actions; type effects; and controlled use of layer styles, blending modes, filters and other special effects. Introduction to Camera Raw, Photoshop Motion and 3D. Includes introduction to color management for output to print and web. Special attention given to practical industry based projects working across Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator applications.
