Present: Nina, Carol. Julia, Tasha, Tim, Helen
Apologies: Alex, Jane
Agenda:
- Congruence Engine Exhibit Demo (Tasha)
- TaNC Evaluation (27th Nov and 18th Dec)
- Matters arising after the TANC conference
- Recommendations work
- AOB:
- Environmental impact report for the DH climate coalition - Tasha will send a copy to ARPM in two weeks time.
Notes:
- Tasha demonstrated the exhibit interactive, taking us through the different techniques explored on it. Tasha to send a link to Arran and Nina so they can do some self-led exploring of the interactive to give feedback.
- 27th has been offered as a cross-TaNC multi-project TaNC evaluation session as on the 18th we cannot have more than 7. Julia to join on 27th instead of 18th. Nina to touch base with Lizzie, Maggie and Kylea to see if either of them could do 27th. Nina also to check in with Nayomi and Kunika to double check if they can do 18th Dec.
- Generally good feedback formally and informally about the work of Congruence Engine. Ethics session was particular interesting.
AB shared via email that Contact theatre were very helpful in the set up of the demos as many train delays meant some of the presenters didn’t get in on time for the allotted set up.
TaNC training and skills programme - we should look at it and share with all our partners.
- Who is our audience for the recommendations? AHRC, DCMS, those who have a stake in industrial history. They do not have to sit alongside or in step with the TaNC recommendations. It might be useful to think about OSOH community generated digital content observatory at TNA and how that sits alongside our minimal technical infrastructure idea.
-
- social machine (with specific subsets for social and technical infrastructure and then techniques)
2)funding directions
- large complex projects
