Notes:

  1. Books
    1. Emergent Histories. By this morning, 6 out of 22 chapters have been received. Tim and Alex R have been speaking further about the editorial process and there are a few extension that go up to the end of this week. Some scope for additional extensions until the end of next week, but keen that isn’t the case for many. Looks like it is likely that the book will be complete for Christmas. Feedback will be given to authors as the chapters and read and a week deadline will be given for authors to respond.
    2. Manifesto book, acknowledging that most of this work will happen in January. Draft introduction done, Helen has been doing some work on her chapter too. Questions for us to consider in terms of the tone of the manifesto - uncertainty, modesty, care, how do we write productively through this. We need to decide what a manifesto is to us - hold it and consider what manifesto means to us, to a project like us. CRediT taxonomy will be used in this publication too.
  2. Investigation meeting on the TaNC final report - Tim has sent an email this morning. Julia noted that themes, notes and findings coming from the end of the project conversations are coming together too, and can feed into the project findings. Tim keen to identify levels of contribution. Investigation meeting to focus on the recommendations and what needs to change. AR to look into this.
  3. Budget looks good - money will be very largely spent!
  4. Felix and Sarah Middle’s contracts come to an end at the end of November, and Jo Kent’s mid December. Co-Is, not directly incurred, their contracts are formally end this week too. Likely that some will still be involved, but with less flexibility.
  5. AOB
    1. Alex F has done a brilliant job of bringing together the demonstration session. Tim still looking for comments and feedback on the plenary he is giving. Needs to know asap.
    2. Team celebration - re-address closer to the time.
    3. Alex F is looking after the recordings.
    4. TaNC evaluation session - Nina to remind people to respond
    5. Arran looking to do a session with the RFs on research ethics.
