Metrics:
- Total Tweets
- The total number of unique tweets.
- Total Retweets
- The total number of retweets. The retweets counted here are the Twitter platform's official retweets. A stand-alone tweet that is simply starting with the text RT: is not recognized as a retweet by Twitter nor by Symplur. The total number of tweets.
- Total Users
- The total number of unique Twitter accounts with at least one tweet included in the dashboard's data.
- Total Impressions
- The total number of impressions. Impressions indicate the theoretical maximum number of Twitter users a given tweet could have directly reached, not counting indirect impressions from embedded tweets on websites, tv, prints, or other mediums or impressions from non-Twitter users. This number is computed by taking the number of times an account has tweeted multiplied by the account's number of followers repeated for all accounts, then finally summed up.
- Total Articles
- The total number of articles, or links/URLs, shared. This number excludes links that point to other tweets. A tweet can contain multiple articles.
- Total visuals
- The total number of times each photo, GIF, or video was shared.
A single tweet can include up to 4 photos, so a single tweet can potentially increase this number by 4. Retweets are counted and increase the total count. However, the platform is aware whenever an identical visual was shared and this is revealed in the Visuals widget where we show the share count for each unique visual.
