How to actually study

Reading your textbook again is not studying. Your brain remembers what it pulls out of itself, not what it reads off a page. Flashcards force that pull on every card.

StudyLess uses spaced repetition: once you set your exam date, every card gets scheduled to show up right before you'd forget it. Cards you already know go quiet. Cards you're shaky on come back fast.

The catch is consistency. The schedule only works if you open the app every day. Fifteen minutes is enough. Skip three days and the cards stack up, the timing breaks, and you end up cramming the same thing twice.

If a deck doesn't cover something you need, generate your own. Type a topic, paste notes, or snap a textbook page. You get a deck in seconds, unlimited.

If a concept won't click, ask the AI tutor. It's built into every card and study guide. Tell it what you don't get and it walks you through from zero, with examples and follow-up questions if you need them.

Study guides

The Units 1–3 deck comes with 10 study guides covering every unit. Read them once at the start of cram week to refresh what you've forgotten. Come back to specific guides whenever a flashcard exposes a weak spot.

These are written to teach you the concept, not to dump definitions.
