2026
Three artist teams – Geoffrey Lillemon, Ivano Salonia, and Mama Magnet (Tulika Ahuja × Reza Hasni) – were given two weeks, a pile of Claude credits and one brief: to build a thing that invites visitors to engage with Nxt installations in new and unexpected ways. The result was a night where 200+ people stirred a digital cauldron, turned their phones into an orchestra, and went hunting for treasure around Nxt Museum.

🦜 2026
How to Talk to People About AI addresses a problem many of us face at work: conversations about AI often polarise into two camps – for or against – making it difficult to have constructive, productive, nuanced discussion. This project is looking to collect practices, tactics and tricks to help facilitators and all of us move conversations beyond the usual standoff and to to give people the tools to have better, more nuanced, real-world conversations about AI that allows people to explore its complexities without tumbling into the hate/hype rhetoric.
How can we have more meaningful, fruitful, non-polarizing, in-depth, nuanced, honest, critical conversations about AI?

TIME: June 2026 - Dec 2026
TEAM: Ploipailin Flynn (Project Lead + Researcher), Nadia Piet (Creative Lead + Researcher), Rasa Bocyte (Partner + Researcher)

2026 - 2027
AIxDESIGN is teaming up with the KB, the National Library of the Netherlands, on an exhibition and public programme about AI, made from the national collection and open to the public. Long before neural nets, libraries were the machines we built to organise human knowledge, and we are using that collection to look at what AI is, where it comes from, and what it has to do with how we have always stored and searched knowledge. The show mixes objects and stories from the collection with interactive artworks and experiments you can actually play with, part of it staged in the KB Atelier, with talks, workshops, and screenings running alongside. Opens in The Hague, late 2026 into 2027.

r00ts traces your internet use to actual data centers around the world, connecting you to the droughts, energy battles, and community resistance happening there. Because your internet has neighbors, and they're probably pissed.

You’re sitting on a goldmine of critical AI research. So are we. So is everyone in our networks. So why can't we surface our knowledge when we need it?
Skinny Dip is a small, community-governed AI tool that makes collective knowledge actually searchable, built with and for those who are done feeding their thinking into Big Tech’s black box.
