💡
AI Work Ledger is a system I designed to capture, structure, and convert AI-assisted work into reusable, portfolio-ready outputs. It standardizes how sessions are documented, preserves decision-making context, and creates a repeatable workflow from execution to publication. This removes the need to reconstruct work and ensures every meaningful session produces a usable asset.

What I Built
Built a system that captures AI-assisted work, preserves decision-making context, and converts sessions into reusable, portfolio-ready outputs.
- AI Work Ledger system for capturing AI-assisted work
- Standardized structure for documenting decisions, context, and outputs
- Dual-layer system: internal (high-signal) and public (readable)
- Workflow for converting sessions into portfolio-ready case studies
- File-based system for reuse, storage, and future automation
Key Decisions
Designed a dual-layer system that separates internal thinking from public presentation while maintaining a single source of truth.
- Defined scope to combine portfolio evidence, context capture, and capability proof in one artifact
- Built a purpose-built Notion schema inside the system, not inherited
- Made data scrub mandatory as the first step before any reconstruction
- Added platform selector so it works across Notion, Obsidian, Google Docs, Markdown, and manual copy
- Kept Fitness Function in the personal version only; removed from public version
- Used existing Case Studies database in Notion; avoided duplicate databases
- Chose private GitHub repo for distribution of the public version
My Role vs. AI Support
