Purpose
This policy informs candidates about Wakam’s use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology as a supportive tool during interview and recruitment process.
At Wakam we believe in transparency and want to ensure all candidates understand how AI may be utilized while emphasizing that human judgment remains central to all hiring decisions.
To improve the efficiency of our recruitment process and the management, we built an internal AI Assistant to help the recruiters and the Hiring Manager.
AI Role in Our Interview Process
What AI Does
Here are the functionalities of the assistant:
- Help in CV analysis: Extracting key information (skills, experience, training) and evaluating their relevance in relation to available positions. Thanks to assistant it automatically structures the data from your submitted CV (resume) and other documents so that we can use this data when we interact with you as a potential candidate or job applicant.
- Structuring interview feedback: Converting interview notes into organized, comprehensive reports
- Ensuring consistency: Standardizing the format and thoroughness of candidate evaluations
- Supporting documentation: Creating clear records that capture key discussion points and assessments
- Analyzing compensation data: Providing market context for salary discussions
- Video/audio transcriptions: they are automated transcriptions of recordings submitted during the screening process;
What AI Does NOT Do
- Make hiring decisions: All recruitment decisions are made exclusively by human HR professionals and hiring managers
- Replace human judgment: AI serves only as an analytical and organizational tool to support human decision-making
- Access personal data independently: AI only processes information that has been shared during the application and interview process (e.g. CV, LinkedIn profile or any other personal information shared with recruiter or hiring manager during the process interview)
How This Benefits You
- Objective initial assessment: CV analysis ensures all relevant qualifications are identified and considered fairly
- Consistent evaluation: Standardized compatibility matching helps maintain fairness across all candidate assessments
