RULES

For Virtual Pet:

• Keep within color palette
• Thick and colored outlines
• Cut down shapes, keep it simple
• Flat colors → “Blocked” Shading
• Simple faces
• Reflects “reality,” aka avoid fantastical elements
• Exaggeration of head size, showcase mood/facial expressions/head movement over body
• Pets should be kept “on-the ground” and at a “front view”
• Pets wear minimal to none clothing

For Inventory Items:

• No text
• MOSTLY fit into color palette
• Thin outlines
  • (15px, outside (or inside) position, exclusion blend, and anywhere between 50 - 100% opacity)
• Simple shapes, vector work
• Leans towards a realistic representation

For Tiles aka Berries:
