AEFI
The points to be considered for providing information about potential Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI) include:
Maintaining hydration by consuming extra fluids (breast milk or clean water in case of infants)
Use of paracetamol in appropriate doses (only if required)
Use a clean, cold, damp cloth to ease pain at the local injection site.
Reporting to the nearest health center if any AEFIs worsen or persist more than a day or two.
