This is a documentation of my journey from a newbie in ReactJS to an acquaintance to this library.

This started on the morning of 10th of April, I was yet to watch Tanay's final video of neoG level 0.

My phone buzzes and checking my phone I see that Tanay made an announcement in his discord server, providing a link to a tutorial he stated that folks who are interested in getting a job can grab this opportunity and make this To-Do List app.

Without giving a second thought to it I switched my OS from Windows to Linux; as games can be the distraction I cannot afford; and started making it while watching the provided tutorial. Three hours passes and I'm done hosting the app. Posted the link in discord and ready to be added in the secret group mentioned by Tanay. Yes, he also mentioned that in the announcement.

Yes, that is a newbie.

'I was among the best in programming'. To be honest I had no damn idea what the heck I was doing while coding. Blindly doing what was shown in the tutorial without a meager idea about the data-flow of the program. All my ego was shattered making me realise how ignorant and wrong I was.

Being humbled by, relatively the monstrous project, I devoted myself to learning programming from scratch with a lot of motivation only to be squished by the inferiority complex I had the moment I looked at one of the moderator's github and his skills as a developer; for some reason my mind decided to ignore his role in server.

This was the sight, which left my soul along with my friend's diminished to an oblivion of insecurity and inferiority. Thankfully it didn't last long as I got in touch with that particular person and he told me some sensible things which I currently don't remember but somehow inculcated in my daily life. Incredible right? I don't believe it either. Moving on!

Fast forward to completing the 4th project, I somehow gained a sense of familiarity with ReactJS by making all these projects. So, am I able to build projects on my own, without the support of any tutorial? NO

But on the brighter side I do understand what I am typing, at least half of the time. With this optimism holding my finger, I shall be learning ReactJS everyday and hopefully the day wont be far where a single glance at my Github profile will give my junior existential crisis.

Hopefully this blog gives you an insight into a beginner's mind.

Not everything in this blog is supposed to be taken seriously as sarcasm exists within the ability to read between the lines.
