Lohkri decides he is ready to start learning black magic, but chooses to seek out the help of a inexperienced tutor rather than his very experienced blackmage partner, Cayto; the couple end up having their first real fight about it.

Lohkri had returned home from a tutor lesson, but sets a blackmage staff against the wall in the kitchen, clearly looking quite pleased with himself that he was carrying out such a powerful weapon.

He sees Cayto eyeing him curiously, but also with a very concerned expression.

“I’ve been practicing,” Lohkri says immediately.
